The Boat Safety Scheme - Home BSS Essential Guide 2nd ed. can now be ordered online at the waterscape.com shop Guide and folders

Both versions of the Guide downloadable free of charge from this site. Further technical support is available by phone, fax, email or post through the BSS Office.

Printed versions of the guide can be ordered by letter with a cheque* made payable to British Waterways, or by telephoning the BSS Office on 01923 201278 and having credit/debit card details ready.

For privately owned, privately managed craft
The 2nd Edition BSS Essential Guide printed version is available now (see here for images). It is designed to fit in the folder of the 2002 (red, grey and blue) First Edition.

An all-new polypropylene A5 size folder

This will hold either the 2005 or the 2002 editions. It has stronger clips and is made from a thicker gauge polypropylene than the original version. It also includes a compressor bar and document pocket.
