To ensure that your LPG system is sound and leak-free there must be a means of
adequately testing your gas system. There are a number of ways this can be done:

  • having a readily accessible built-in test point on appliances where a test gauge can be attached, without using tools to dismantle any part of the appliance
  • by having a readily accessible approved test point fitted in the pipework
  • by having a bubble tester installed in the cylinder locker - this has the added advantage that you will be able to regularly and easily check the system for leaks yourself.
