Appendices

To help stop fuel leaking past tank drains which are worn, or which have not
been properly closed, tanks must be fitted with a suitable drain valve. This must
also be fitted with a plug on the outlet. Boats manufactured before 16 June
1998, which have a fuel tank drain without a valve, are exempt from this part of
this Standard. [2.11]
